As an Lead Ice Laborer, you will be responsible to oversee ice production and replenishment as well as to fill a production slot for given shift.

Job Description:


Pay:
$19/hour (plus shift differential & freezer premium)


Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (7pm-530am)


Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406, USA

You will contribute by:

Monitoring ice quality to ensure standards are met

Ensuring bags are filled properly

Ensuring all equipment is working as intended

Being responsible for completing and logging all daily checks including weights, metal detection, preproduction, melt tests, sanitation, maintenance and ccp logs

Being responsible for final approval of quality of product before it leaves the ice plant

Being involved in the weekly cleaning and sanitizing of all ice making and packaging equipment

Your work environment may include:


Freezer:
-10 to 40 degrees

At least 1 year of warehouse experience

Minimum one year experience needed and familiar with fixing machinery

Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred

Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Ability to work a ten+ hour shift with occasional overtime.

Ability to operate the necessary equipment.

Ability to lift between lbs, walk/ stand up to 12 hrs.

Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
