Job Summary and Qualifications:


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knows and applies the fundamental concepts and principles gained through experience to solve a range of problems
  • Participates in on call rotation and/or after hours support as needed
  • Proactively leads and conducts facility rounding to ensure support needs are met, interactions documented, and issues escalated as needed.
  • Adheres to service management operational policies and best practices, contributing to enterprise and IT service management goals.
  • Promotes system security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission & Value Statement
  • Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Required:

  • Works independently with general supervision.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with leaders, customers, clinicians, and colleagues verbally and in writing
  • Advanced leadership and excellent teaching abilities
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills
  • Understanding of reporting tools functionality and capabilities
  • Must have transportation to assigned work locations

Preferred:

  • Customer service orientation and/or training

EDUCATION:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • One+ years of general work experience (IT or healthcare experience preferred).
CERTIFICATE/


LICENSE:
Valid state driver's license and proof of auto insurance, if applicable.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS (Specific statements of physical effort required and description of work environment; e.g., prolonged sitting at CRT., required travel %) Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.

Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations. Travel between facilities in a geographic zone will be required.
