- Assist in monthly close and financial reporting
- Provide periodic and ad hoc reports and analysis that provide insights to the financial data.
- Evaluate, maintain, and improve applicable internal controls and accounting processes.
- Assist in year-end close and annual external audit process.
- 1+ year of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required with appropriate experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills

Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounting Specialist / Junior Accountant for a growing client near downtown Portland. The Ideal candidate will need at least 1+ years of accounting along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $25 and $28/hr. Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours a week
Location: Portland- Onsite
