    Housekeeping Summary:
    North Village Park is looking for a dynamic person who would be crossed-trained in the housekeeping and laundry departments. Includes excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to ensure residents rooms are in clean, comfortable conditions while adhering to state guidelines.


    Laundry / Housekeeping Aide Responsibilities:


    Clean, sanitize and tidy all areas according to state standards performed timely and as assigned by supervisorEnsures all resident and facility items are thoroughly laundered using laundry products as directed by the supervisor, adhering to state and federal guidelines for clean/safety standardsFollow established safety work area procedureChanging gloves and washing hands between roomsUse of wet floor signageAssuring all infection control procedures are followedClean and polish furnishing, fixtures, ledges, heaters, A/C units, picture frames as well as all resident belongingsClean windows, mirrors, bathrooms, walls, ceiling, floors, tubs and showersClean floor by sweeping, moping and dustingRemove dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using proper cleaning products as instructedWashing, drying, folding linen and clothing items in a neat manner.

    Resident clothing is hung and sorted on racks by room and floors for easy delivery.
    Sorts and delivers resident items daily/weekly. Ensures all items are clearly marked with resident names. Assists to identify any unmarked/unclaimed items.
    Take out trash and ensure trash containers are fire ratedReport danger/safety concerns to supervisorKeep halls clear of objects (ie. tables, beds, carts) to ensure safe pathwaysAssists residents in hanging up and organizing their belongings being deliveredAssist in moving and/or removing heavy objects and room relocations as directedEnsure housekeeping cart is locked when not in useEnsure room readiness for new residents by deep cleaning room, preparing bed with new linens/comforter, and placing bed in highest positionPerforms other reasonable duties as directed by the leadership team.
