Nienhuis Financial Group is working to help one of our clients hire for a
Bookkeeper postion in the Grand Rapids/Wyoming, MI area.
Bookkeeper.
- 4pm.
The job is a mix of the following:
Accounts Payable:
- Enter invoices and payments in accounting system
- Run/write checks
- Track work order costs
- Run reports as needed for owner
Accounts Receivable:
- Receive customer payments
- Assemble/make daily deposits
- Monitor account aging and make collections calls
- Run reports as needed for owner
- Provide service for individuals and corporate car accounts
- Answer phones, assist customers and/or direct calls
- Assist walkin customers
- Schedule service appointments for customers
- Manage electronic timecards
- Prepare payroll data for processing by outside firm
- Run reports as needed for owner
What we are looking for:
Education & Experience Required
- High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred
- 35 years' accounts receivable/accounts payable experience
- 12 years' experience using QuickBooks Online
- 12 years customer service experience
Daily interactions will include customers, vendors, Service Manager, Body Shop Manager, other employees, and vendors
