We are looking for world-class talent to tackle challenging projects that will help power the planet with 100% clean energy.

First, the good news:

Humans have installed a little over 1 TW of cumulative solar capacity over the last 20 years - solar is now the cheapest source of energy generation around the globe.

Now, the challenge:
Humans have to build 3 TW of solar capacity every year for the next 30+ years.

Planted is creating new technology to overhaul how we design, develop, and build solar power resources to make this happen.

And, we need help. We're expanding our team of curious, collaborative, and hands-on engineers and operators. Come own large parts of product, company, or business development and help make our big plans a reality

About The Role:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support all aspects of project origination and development to expand the project pipeline and win contracts.
Own site analysis, financial and energy modeling, and proposal creation for potential solar power plant projects
Support internal and external resources to help negotiate LOIs and master framework contracts.
Support the creation and improvement of development and project management tools, processes, and standard operating procedures
Structure and prepare analysis and materials for senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of working experience in the energy industry
Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills
Financial modeling experience using Microsoft Excel
Handson ownership mentality, curiosity, and resourcefulness
Ability to navigate ambiguity, reduce reasonable risks, and make good decisions with imperfect knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's in business, engineering, economics, mathematics, or related field
Experience in energy markets or renewable energy project development
Experience with solar industry software (e.g., PVsyst, Anderson Optimization)

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Mostly desk work using standard office equipment
The position requires some travel for customer site visits, conferences, and companywide meetings
