The NAKOS is the central nationwide contact point in Germany for self-help. It connects relevant stakeholders and provides information to interested individuals, those affected, and their families. It showcases the diversity and possibilities of community self-help and promotes and represents it to politics and society. NAKOS is an institution of the German Working Group for Self-Help Groups (DAG SHG).

We are currently seeking a\*n for our team in Cedaredge, CO.


Responsibilities:

  • Recording and booking of business transactions
  • Account management and monitoring
  • Document management
  • Payment transactions
  • Preparation, review, and reconciliation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Asset accounting
  • Office organization

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient use of MS Office applications
  • Proficient use of accounting software (ideally LEXWARE)
  • Careful application of the principles of proper accounting
  • Excellent German language skills
  • Thorough, careful, structured, and reliable work ethic
  • Enjoyment of working in a team
