genesisONE is looking for a Customer Service Rep (CSR) who genuinely enjoys helping others and likes looking for ways to make it easy for them to do business.

For over 30 years, genesisONE has been helping local businesses use office technology. We help people and technology work as ONE. We sell and service a full line of office equipment, software, and technology systems.


In this role you will:

Get to know people and form long-term relationships.

  • Get to know our customers by name and build trust by responding promptly to customer inquiries, entering product orders and service call information, and managing customer equipment contracts.

Be in the know. This role interacts with all areas of the company, so you'll have insight and a complete view of the business to assist customers as well as get to know your teammates. In this role, you will stay busy, serve as a communication hub, and solve problems. The days will fly by


Look for ways to help customers:

  • Ask questions to understand their needs.
  • Provide timely followup.
  • Look and listen for ways to enhance the customer's experience, then share your insight to have a direct impact on making things better

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Active listening skills and empathy to put yourself in the customer's shoes to provide the best possible solution.
  • 3+ years businesstobusiness (B2B) customer service experience.
  • To be detailed oriented and enjoying seeing things to completion.
  • The ability to work in our Northbrook, Illinois, office three days a week, including Wednesdays. This is a hybrid position and not a fully remote position.
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to accurately enter information.
  • Strong organizational and followup skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay:
$41, $50,330.77 per year
