What we are looking for in a Network Specialist
-
Skilled: Experienced network specialist with competency in installing and provisioning electronics, such as modems, routers, and switches. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. Able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, and switches. Able to plan and implement network security and stability measures for a rapidly growing ISP network. Able to effectively communicate with teammates and customers to meet their needs and expectations.

Knowledgeable: Focused and disciplined learner with a basic understanding of subnets, routing, Layer2 networks, VLAN's, Layer 3 switches and routing, with ability to program related gear. Basic understanding of/able to learn, BGF, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols, as well as the interaction between them.

Passionate: Eager to learn about a dynamic and growing industry and excited about working to establish reliable broadband infrastructure to provide great internet service to customers. Willing to learn, grow and engage in creative problem solving, including overseeing projects, and performing basic coding and mapping. Desire to continuously learn and grow and build your knowledge and skills.

Safety Conscious:Use of all required PPE when on construction sites. Driver's license with a clean or good driving record.

Team Player:Humble. Self-motivated. Hard worker. Excellent communicator.
