Description
Valley Community Services Board is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team Part Time._Essential Functions_
- Provides intensive case management, rehabilitation, and supportive services to individuals experiencing serious mental illness.
- Work with a population of adults who may be dually diagnosed with chronic mental illness and substance use issue.
- Services are provided in accordance with the ACT model of treatment.
- Services are provided in multiple settings, including in the home and in the community.
- Requires working a schedule rotation of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Limited oncall responsibilities.
_Minimum Qualifications_
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in human services field and one year direct clinical experience with mentally ill population.
- Valid VA driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be QMHP or QMHP-T eligible.
- Physically able to climb stairs and assist with moving small to moderate sized items.
- Able to carry out job responsibilities within the existing setup of the ACT office.
- Can work outside the office setting in the community and can tolerate heat and cold as well as inclement weather conditions.
- Can work independently in the environment.
