Valley Community Services Board is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team Part Time.


_Essential Functions_

  • Provides intensive case management, rehabilitation, and supportive services to individuals experiencing serious mental illness.
  • Work with a population of adults who may be dually diagnosed with chronic mental illness and substance use issue.
  • Services are provided in accordance with the ACT model of treatment.
  • Services are provided in multiple settings, including in the home and in the community.
  • Requires working a schedule rotation of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Limited oncall responsibilities.

_Minimum Qualifications_

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in human services field and one year direct clinical experience with mentally ill population.
  • Valid VA driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be QMHP or QMHP-T eligible.
  • Physically able to climb stairs and assist with moving small to moderate sized items.
  • Able to carry out job responsibilities within the existing setup of the ACT office.
  • Can work outside the office setting in the community and can tolerate heat and cold as well as inclement weather conditions.
  • Can work independently in the environment.
