Software Architect Automotive (W/M/D)

My client is a dynamic company specializing in the development and series production of embedded systems (control units) and lighting systems for the exterior and interior of automobiles.

Your responsibilities:

Developing the initial architecture design during the bidding phase
Deriving suitable software architecture and requirements from system requirements
Determining the technical implementation in collaboration with the system and hardware architects
Reviewing architectures and software code
Being the main point of contact for software-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Providing technical support for analyzing error reports
Evaluating and implementing new and innovative technologies and methods for software development

Your profile:

Successfully completed studies in (technical) computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in software development in the field of embedded software/electronics
Bonus: Experience in the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of C/C++ with a focus on software architecture and design
Experience in control engineering, lighting technology, functional safety, and cyber security is advantageous
Basic understanding of requirements management
