QC Management LLC _is looking for a Merchandiser for a Floral Boutique rapidly growing client in the
Southwest Chicago area
.

We seek a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Merchandiser.

As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are displayed effectively and attractively to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.


Responsibilities:


  • Cleaning, watering, restocking, and merchandising floral display.
  • Accessing cold storage (for short periods).
  • Lifting boxes.
  • Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • Identifying and removing damaged/outdated floral items from display.
  • Assisting potential floral customers with questions and selection of products

Requirements:


  • Professional.
  • Selfstarter.
  • Able to travel locally and must have a valid Driver's License (in good standing).
  • Computer literate and own a smartphone (with data service).
  • Able to access a printer or own a printer.
  • Able to use Microsoft Outlook for mobile and desktop devices.
  • Able to work efficiently under mínimal supervision.
  • Detailoriented and able to communicate effectively with supervisor(s).
  • Able to work on their feet, move about, bend, kneel, and must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Able to operate a manual pallet jack (training provided).
  • Additional hours during holidays/promotional periods.
  • Able to work with floral materials and foliage.

Skills:


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in visual design principles.
  • Familiarity with cash register operations.
  • Basic understanding of retail math concepts.
  • Leadership abilities to supervise other merchandisers effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy boxes or merchandise.
  • Visual Design: Create visually appealing displays that enticingly showcase products.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary, Contract


Pay:
$18.00 per hour
