Your Typical Daily Responsibilities

  • Provide personal assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community
  • Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and wellbeing
  • Provide handson support and assistance with mobility and incontinence care as needed
  • Contribute to developing service plans and document care and services as provided daily
  • Ensure care, safety and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance

Skills Required for Success

  • Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks and changing resident care needs
  • Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to observe, identify and promptly report changes in condition to the appropriate personnel
  • Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a collective goal

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Our Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in working with an aging population requiring physical assistance
  • Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
  • Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends and holidays

  • At least one year of direct care experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care or Skilled Nursing community with an Arizona Certified Caregiver certification
