  • Position Summary: Provides clinical and clerical support relating to department activities. Performs diverse duties to provide support to physical medicine staff / department functions and systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Trained to assist in rehabilitation therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a PT/PTA, OTR/COTA, and/or SLP.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Skillfully performs treatments as assigned under appropriate direction-
  • Transports patients from rooms and other areas-
  • Responsible for inventory and supply orders-
  • Completes data entry of billing in a timely manner-
  • Covers reception/clerical positions per department needs.-
  • Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits-
  • Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct-
  • Interpersonal skills are needed to communicate with other health care professionals and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.-
  • Uphold professional standards and responsibilities by achieving service competence and supporting evidence-based interventions to promote quality in practice.-
  • Includes Saturday and Sunday rotation work as applicable
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education and Training:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.-
  • Excellent customer service skills.-
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.-
  • Transports patients from rooms and other areas.-
  • Provides clerical support to department.-
  • Previous tech experience preferred

Days - Variable weekday and weekend, Registry
