- Electrical Safety - Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to global brands, governments, and companies, is seeking a Staff Engineer to join the Electrical Safety Team in Fridley, MN.
- Assess engineering skills and performance levels of the team.
- Develop training programs and provide ongoing support on technical matters.
- Offer expertise in multiple product categories and quote standards for various projects.
- Stay updated on new standards, technologies, and industry trends.
- Represent Intertek on technical committees and industry associations.
- Handle calibration issues and investigate technical complaints.
- Support accreditation activities and manage capital projects.
- Provide sales support by presenting during client visits.
- Recommend and prepare capital expenditure requests.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably a master's degree.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of US, Canadian, and international product safety standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
