Job Overview

Key Job Responsibilities

Develop robotic welding processes with support from welding engineer

Support robotic welding processes

Write robotic welding programs with support from welding engineer

Assist in the design fixturing for robotic welding processes with support from welding engineer

Ensure all welding meets appropriate welding codes with support from welding engineer

Work within the scope of lean manufacturing to ensure weld deposition is being maximized

Qualifications/Requirements

• Associates degree (two years of study beyond high school) OR Equivalent Experience
• Knowledge in materials and properties
• Knowledge of Welding and International Codes & Standards a plus
• Experience in developing, supporting and programming robotic welding operations in heavy fab environment a plus
• Medium to heavy plate welding experience a plus
• Writing procedures, reading and interpreting drawings and standards a plus
