Duties:
Manage a variety of clients, a group of talented planners and landscape architects, and projects of varying scales and complexity.
Lead the growth of the department focused in land use and zoning/entitlements
Client management/business development
Lead/manage projects such as Master Planning; Urban Design; Landscape Architecture; Streetscapes; Mixed-Use Development, Commercial, Campus Style Development.
Staff management
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in land planning for either private and public sector work
AICP or RLA is desired
Experience managing projects and staff
Experience with client management/business development
Experience with master planning, land use planning, zoning and entitlements, site suitability studies, density studies, design charettes, concept plans, etc.
Previous experience with sustainable site design practices for projects is a plus.
Experience with federal projects is a plus
