Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher.

As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

Utilize GIS and transportation planning software to analyze routes and optimize delivery schedules
Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry
Communicate with drivers, providing them with clear instructions and updates on delivery assignments
Monitor driver progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs and delivery reports
Provide exceptional phone etiquette when interacting with customers and drivers
Assist with fleet management, including vehicle maintenance scheduling and fuel tracking

Requirements:

Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination is preferred
Proficient in data entry and computer systems, including Oracle Transportation Management or similar software
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams
Ability to analyze information quickly and make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with fleet management practices is a plus
