Duties/Responsibilities:

Will directly support Manufacturing Engineers and assembly on plant floor through design and documentation of layout, tooling, fixtures, material handling systems, safety, and ergonomics and other duties as assigned.

Owns an area of the line.

Would be responsible for ensuring their standard work is up to date and as clear as possible, eliminate/reduce any safety risks in the area, and overall find ways to help the area work as efficiently as possible.

Everyday is different and brings new sets of challenges.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, mechanical)
2-4 years of relevant experience
Would consider associate's degree with 4 years of experience

Required Skills:
1 year of relevant work experience in Manufacturing Engineering
1 year of relevant work experience in Project Management
Knowledge and experience with New Product Introductions
3 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Standard Assembly Tools and their applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Mechanical/Assembly Experience
Operations/Industrial Planning Experience
Proficiency in writing Standard Work
Experience reading and interpreting engineering prints
