Painting and
Carpentry.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Operations to join our team and provide their expertise during our period of growth.


As Director of Operations, you will work closely with the partners of Perennial Empire to ensure that all projects are being completed on budget and on time.

The majority of our projects are focused in the five boroughs.

You will work directly with our W2 employees, Project Managers, Subcontractors, suppliers, and support staff to ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems on the go.


Responsibilities:


Collaborate with the Partners and Project Managers to plan and schedule construction activities, materials, labor, and equipment requirements for upcoming projects.


Ensure that all projects under your purview are maintaining compliance protocols: Daily Reports, Daily Sign in Sheets, and Daily Logs.

You are required to communicate with the back office daily and send over all compliance information to ensure Certified Payroll Compliance.

We expect you to
enforce compliance.

Conduct pre-job meetings with the project manager and field teams to review project specifications, safety protocols, and work plans.

Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements.

Inspect in house employee labor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to safety guidelines, design specifications, and quality standards.

Coordinate with inhouse employees to monitor job progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Analyze challenges in worker productivity or project execution and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.

Train and mentor field personnel in construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by working effectively with other company employees and subcontractors.


Qualifications:


  • Experience working in tenant occupied spaces a must
  • Direct experience managing direct craft employees, prevailing wage a must.
  • Proven experience within the
    interior renovation industry:
  • Experience overseeing operations of a 20+ million company.
  • Strong understanding of reconstruction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in ensuring safety compliance on construction sites. OSHA SST 66
  • Problemsolving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Fluent with technology including MS Suite, Construction Software such as ProCore
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management is desirable.

Physical Requirements:


Driving:
A valid driver's license is necessary along with a clean driving record.


Pay:
$150, $200,000.00 per year
plus bonuses
