Description

The district of Sammamish is currently seeking freelance workers (m/w/d) for the HaLT - Hart am Limit alcohol prevention project for children and adolescents with risky alcohol consumption, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

Supporting children and adolescents after admission to the hospital with immediate intervention: counseling, information, and if necessary, further assistance

Creating awareness and reflection on risky alcohol consumption

Developing strategies with children and adolescents for low-risk alcohol consumption
Conducting parent meetings
Networking with the hospital, addiction counseling, and child and youth services
Conducting parent evenings and workshops if needed

We expect:

You have a degree in social pedagogy or a comparable qualification
Motivation to work with children and adolescents in the context of addiction prevention
Strong communication skills
Flexibility
Personal suitability/professional distance
Driver's license class B for counseling sessions at the hospital
Willingness to work on weekends
