Responsibilities:


  • Working with and closely monitors various inbound/outbound customer shipments (LTL, TL, ocean container and returned goods) and expedites and controls the receiving and inventory placement of customer products and materials.
  • Supervises group involved in warehouse operations to include interviewing, training, evaluating, scheduling, etc.
  • Monitors employee's time, tracks paid time off, authorizes and forwards employee's time sheets to Payroll Department.
  • Verifies accuracy and quality of inbound and outbound customer materials and placement of materials in warehouse inventory.
  • Captures records and monitors metrics in conjunction with QMS and other quality management programs.
  • Researches receiving and inventory discrepancies and conducts root cause analysis. Implements corrective action.
  • Places major emphasis on accuracy and productivity in a detail oriented environment.
  • Ensures compliance with customer policies and procedures and strict adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Performs interviewing, coaching, evaluating, training, and scheduling functions.
  • Provides feedback and instructions and conducts daily meetings with the Warehouse Team.
  • Communicates regularly with managers, subordinates and peers.
  • Reviews daily labor needs, and makes appropriate staffing arrangements.
  • Assists with the establishment of core measurements. Maintains measurement records on a daily basis. Reports monthly warehouse efficiency by customer.
  • Works to continuously improve the warehouse function to maintain current customer base and to better market our services to obtain new contracts.
  • Maintains all work areas in a neat, clean and orderly manner at all times
  • Document processes and procedures and create work instructions as needed

Requirements:


  • High school or equivalent education required, college course work preferred.
  • 13 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a warehouse operation.
  • Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • WMS systems experience required.
  • Be able to move or lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction in English.
  • Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Pay:
$40, $70,000.00 per year

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Warehouse supervisor: 2 years (required)
  • WMS system: 2 years (required)
- medical warehouse environment: 2 years (required)
