As a Portfolio Manager, your role involves underwriting, credit monitoring, and managing Commercial Real Estate and/or Commercial/Corporate/Specialized Banking relationships. Your main focus is on achieving process efficiency, retaining and expanding client relationships, and growing total client assets.


This person will also:

  • Analyze financial data to evaluate loan requests, ensuring adherence to loan policy and recommending suitable structures.
  • Maintain and build loans, deposits, fee income, and referrals of business.
  • Manage portfolio administration and risk in compliance with established credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, Credit Department, Commercial support staff, and internal partners.
  • Identify crossselling opportunities for bank products and services to existing clients and prospects.
  • Assist with due diligence/analysis for new client relationships and special projects as needed.
  • Provide advice to clients on business trends, capital markets, and banking trends.
  • Monitor loan repayment activities and take necessary actions for past due accounts.
  • Participate in the bank's Loan Approval Process, recommending appropriate credit structures.
  • Manage the renewal process in collaboration with Relationship Managers and credit department.
  • Serve as a contact manager for nonborrowing accounts and loan clients regarding banking services.
  • Participate in community and business functions to enhance the bank's image within the marketplace.

Review the qualifications listed below:
Education- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Required

Experience- 4-7 years of Commercial/Corporate/Commercial Real Estate/Specialized Banking and/or Credit Approval. Required- 4-7 years of handling complex credits. Required- 2-4 years of sales experience. Preferred- 2-4 years formal credit training. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications- CFA-Charted Financial Analyst. Preferred- Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive self, if applicable. Required
