SUMMARY:
# The Surgery Nurse Manager is responsible for the development, supervision and coordination of all surgical services.#
Ensures the effective communication of up-to-date information within the department and across departments to encourage teamwork and safe patient transitions and handoffs.
# Provides supervision of personnel and oversight of daily operations of surgery.#Hold team members accountable for consistent delivery of compassionate and exceptional patient care and service excellence through performance, quality and behavior standards and expectations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.# Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

Current Arkansas RN or Compact State license in good standing Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience required in the operating room setting. Previous charge nurse and/or leadership experience required.
Preferred Education:
Master of Science in Nursing Certifications:
Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating servant leadership characteristics.# Strong service excellence focus and the ability to effectively influence internal and external customers.#
