Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN Preferred.- Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.

Geriatric Behavioral#Health Unit / Registered Nurse (RN) $10,000 Sign On Bonus* # Come to Baxter Health#and join the mental health team.# We have the privilege of being able to provide excellent care to patients during acute mental health crisis.# We enjoy our jobs and love to have fun.# We are professional, respectful, always working toward uplifting each other, and ensuring we do our very best every day.# Our Adult Behavioral Health is a 16-bed unit for patients age 18 and above, while our Geriatric Behavioral Health is a 19-bed unit for patients age 55 and above.# Having both behavioral units, we are able to place patients on the most appropriate unit based on each individual#s need and primary diagnosis of mental illness requiring acute inpatient treatment.# Patients are required to attend individual and group psychotherapy, activity therapy, and daily visits with providers.# Our behavioral unit teams are actively engaged with each patient, building relationships and providing education to each patient throughout the shift.# As a nurse, you have the time to get to know each of your patients and help them identify tools needed for healing.

Responsibilities:
