Job Description Associate, Business Analysis
is responsible for supporting financial health assessment process within the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement "SSP" Team. Associate, Business Analysis
will support the SSP Department Head and Tower Heads in the review of the current process, making recommendations, and implementing the recommended a sustainable solution. This will include documentations (policy/procedural) as well as providing training to other SSP persons and stakeholders. Associate, Business Analysis **will also support other SSP programs and initiatives.

Third-Party financial health assessment plays an integral role in the SSP team.

This process ensures that all in scope third parties are reviewed from a financial viability/health standpoint and that they are in good standing order to perform its obligation in accordance with MUFG needs.


Associate, Business Analysis coordinate's activities involved in financial health assessment process and supports key post-assessment activities including monitoring and reporting all company financial risks, while ensuring the broader Third-Party Management "TPM" and SSP processes are enforced in accordance with its governance requirements.


Associate, Business Analysis consults with internal stakeholders to provide timely information on financial risks.


Associate, Business Analysis will be responsible for maintaining a centralized financial health assessment system including its underlying database, data schema, report storage, and measuring of key metrics.


Associate, Business Analysis will be required to liaise with Third Parties (Vendors) and internal IT departments on requirements, implementation, testing, and go-live support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage all aspects of Third-Party financial health assessment process by ensuring TPM/SSP requirements are met financial health assessment procedures and internal controls safeguards are effectively implemented.
  • Design, recommend, and implement a systematic way of performing Third-Party financial health assess.
  • Liaise between control departments including TPM, Finance and manage vendor relationships.
  • Manage and administer vendor subscription accounts on behalf of SSP
  • Maintain central reporting database and storage in accordance with policy & procedures.
  • Support the maintaining, tracking, and reporting of the financial health assessments including liaising and collaborating with internal stakeholders within TPM, risk, control, and finance to provide timely information and reports.
  • Support sourcing managers by reporting on risk or red flags when performing TP financial due diligence and with other adhoc related tasks.
  • Participate in policy and procedure reviews for Third Party Management
  • Support other SSP programs and initiatives.
  • Support local office SSP projects and tasks.
  • Prepares, review and presents reports as requested.
  • Perform other nonspecific jobrelated duties as needed.
Support hybrid workforce enablement plans and flexibility during a transformation of workplace requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, finance, supply chain, or other related fields
  • 4+ years prior experience in business analysis and system automation role or a related field
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship skills when interacting with both internal stakeholders and TPs.
  • Strong problemsolving skills including first principle thinking/approach.
  • Robust analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze and disseminate complex data.
  • Must be adept at queries, reporting and presenting findings with strong attention to detail.
  • Selfstarter that actively engages issues seeking resolution, ability to meet dynamic changes on prioritization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating strong professionalism.
  • Must be able to collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams at times, and also be capable of holding themselves accountable to meet individual deadlines with little to no direction.
  • Must have strong communications skills, both oral and written, and be able to do participate and/or lead meetings with crossfunctional teams and key business stakeholders. Should also have excellent active listening skills and have the ability to communicate analytics results in a clear and concise manner.
