Description
Director of Catering Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements a robust, streamlined catering program companywide, including but not limited to: comprehensive catering service, marketing plans, menu offerings, systems and procedures
- Participates in employee meetings, reviews, and training programs
- Setting up and improving catering systems for all store locations so they can be replicated for future openings
- Local outreach and driving sales
- Attend events, festivals, and other offsite catering functions as needed
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all sales functions and transactions and implement systems to streamline this process
- Must communicate and work closely with the operations team to drive sales and expand the catering business
- Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor cost control, foods cost control and preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup
- Manages in compliance with Company established policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Responds in a timely manner to customer issues and resolves complaints
- Maintain effective communication, direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance
- Provides support and coaching to team members to drive high levels of performance, job satisfaction, and personal growth
- Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business dictates
Director of Catering Qualifications:
- Minimum 35+ years of progressive experience as a Director of Catering, Senior Catering Manager, Catering Sales Manager, Catering Operations Manager, or comparable role with a respected, preferably highvolume catering and/or events company
- Offsite catering experience is highly preferred
- Experience managing and training teams across multiple locations
- Strong catering sales experience with proven success in achieving sales goals
- Experience in accurate forecasting, and preparation of sales plans and financial reports
- Must be able to create and maintain a team atmosphere companywide and ensure that management is appropriately trained on catering processes and procedures
- Must be very detailoriented & can prioritize multiple tasks at once
- Quick to think on the fly and can swiftly come up with solutions to unexpected issues
- Able to multitask and remain organized in a very fastpaced environment
- Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with FOH and culinary teams, clientele, and vendors
- Can easily adapt to the dynamic needs of a multifaceted business
- Highenergy with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
- Highly organized and creative
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in a crossfunctional setting
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for special circumstances
Compensation Package Includes:
- Base Salary in the $90120k range DOE

Pay:
$90, $120,000.00 per year
