Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent

Customer Service experience required

Previous medical reception experience preferred.

Medical terminology preferred

Radiant/Cadence experience preferred


Certification and Licensure
CPR within 90 days


Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of keyboard skills and medical terminology preferred.

Good interpersonal & written communication skills.

Basic knowledge of Epic preferred.


Special Physical Demands
The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

This is considered heavy work due to Radiology Transport duties.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust.

Manual dexterity needed to operate telephone and keyboard.


Level of Supervision
Some independent judgment is required, but alternatives are limited by standard practices or procedures.
