    Job Description
    Insight Global is looking for a Level 2 Production Support Technician.

    This individual should come from a SRE/production support background and have experience with Batch Support Monitoring, automating processes, informatica, UNIX, and oracle.

    Level 2 support employees proactively monitor production systems and applications for anomalies, performance degradation, and errors. They will use JIRA ticketing system and ITRS Geneos for monitoring. This resource will work on process improvements and suggest enhancements to prevent recurring issues, improve system performance.

    The resource is expected to be able to interface with key Business partners and liaisons to build business relationships and to assess the business' technology requirements.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    • 7+ years application production support experience within large enterprise level environment
    • Application monitoring experience (ITRS Geneos)
    • Batch support & processing experience (preferably in Informatica)
    • SRE background
    Experience automating processes for efficiency
    Ability to work on new scrips and develop on them
    Ability to scale infrastructure as needed

    • Triage experience
    • SQL server, Oracle, Informatica
    • Experience using Autosys for job scheduling

    Plusses:

    • Financial background
    • Incident & Change Management background null
