Chicagoland Neuropsychology is looking for a full-time office manager and billing specialist to join our small but mighty team We are a private practice that provides neuropsychological and psychological testing and psychotherapy.

This is a hybrid position that requires 2-3 days per week onsite in our Oak Park office and the rest of the week remote.

This position will also allow for opportunities to develop skills in new areas, such as marketing, allowing for career growth and providing variety.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Screen potential patients, obtain all demographic info, and verify insurance benefits
• Schedule initial intakes and process patient deposits
• Obtaining preauthorizations if necessary
• Submit claims via Office Ally/PracticeMate
• Ensure that claims, denials, rejections, and appeals are efficiently processed. Post payments and Review Explanation of Benefits
• Generate monthly A/R reports and generate patient statements
• Perform general office tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of billing/insurance experience
• Must be knowledgeable about insurance terminology, PPO, deductibles, copays, etc., with private insurance and Medicare
• Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Mental/Behavioral Health knowledge
• Medical Billing Certification

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
