Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated People & Culture Coordinator to enhance our vibrant team in the bustling city of Chicago.
As the People & Culture representative in the US, you will you will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment.
What you'll do:

People Operations Management: Play a critical role in the administration of day-to-day people operations, ranging from onboarding new hires to facilitating employee exits. Ensure all processes are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyse HR metrics to spot trends and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports on key people metrics to senior management, aiding in strategic decision-making.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building: Assist in developing and implementing initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and fostering a positive company culture. Be the go-to person for coordinating company-wide events and team-building activities.

Policy Development & Compliance: Help in the creation and revision of company policies ensuring they comply with local laws and support an inclusive and respectful workplace. Stay abreast of legislation changes impacting HR.

Problem Resolution: Act as the initial point of contact for employee queries, confidently addressing and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving HR processes and practices. Adopt a proactive approach to identify and implement efficiencies within the People & Culture department.
What we expect:

Proven Experience: Previous experience in a HR/People & Culture role, preferably start ups, with a track record of contributing to a positive work environment.

Problem-solving Aptitude: Ability to identify issues and find creative solutions to complex problems.

Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in analysing HR metrics and utilising data to inform decision-making. Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.

Exceptional Organisational Ability: Proven capability to prioritise, organise and manage time efficiently. Agile in adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Outstanding Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff.

Qualification: in Human Resources at BA or CIPD Level 3,

Experience with HR Software: Experience using digital HR tools and platforms.

Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with Illinois employment law.
- Adaptability and the ability to work autonomously.
- This role is not remote and requires full time office attendance.
