The Whites Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government. The company is currently seeking to hire a Badging Technician

  • Unarmed for a federal contract in Washington, DC
Minimum Requirements

  • Strong customer service, communication, computer and organizational skills
  • Must demonstrate competent utilization of MS Office to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to speak clearly and articulately in public
  • Demonstrate legible handwriting
  • Possess a high school education or equivalency
  • Three years of experience in physical security, law enforcement or military experience demonstrating the proficiencies listed below OR may substitute two years of relevant education, above the high school level, for each year of experience, OR may combine relevant education and relevant experience totaling three years
  • Ability to meet and deal with the general public
  • Ability to maintain poise and selfcontrol under stress
  • Ability to construct and write clear and concise, accurate and detailed reports with mínimal supervision
  • Functional Responsibility
  • Operate the Credentialing Center, which includes a bureauonly, HSPD12 GSA dedicated service Credentialing System, control and enrollment of access media into Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) through automated access control interface maintained in the Credentialing Center.
  • Maintain inventory of printing equipment and supplies necessary for printing both the PIV (HSPD12) cards, which require the USAccess interface system and coordination with the Agency Lead, and site badges (Prox cards)
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of approximately HSPD12 printed cards in a secure location
  • Frequently responds to requests for mailing the PIV card via tracking to another credential center
  • Maintain functionality for a Fixed Credential Unit (FCU), USAccess printing station, Mobile Credential Unit (MCU) and the previous requirement to maintain a site badge printing station
  • Maintains a database containing the PIV cards and site badges along with fulfilling access control troubleshoot issues with the FCU and MCU at HQ Act as the first line helpdesk POC for any PIV card issuance, enrollment, activation, and PIN reset issues for government staff
  • May be used for security functions during emergencies at the direction of the Project Manager and/or Supervisor

Pay:
$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
