Monday-Friday traditional business hours (e.g., 8am-430pm) - EST/eastern time

Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge medicine — _private medicine_ — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team.
Based in California, New York, and Florida, our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctors, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide relationship focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members and their families.
Private Medical is, by design, privately held and free from any conflicts of interests.
Right now, we are looking for a Medical Records Coordinator to support our clinical offices and patient onboarding needs across the organization.
While this person will be a member of the Clinical Operations Team, the individual will mostly act independently throughout the day.
The position requires a high level of customer service with community physician offices, hospitals, referral sources as well and our internal teams.
What we're looking for:

Minimum education:Associate's Degree in a health-related field

Minimum experience: Two (2) years of medical/healthcare experience
Skills:
- Independence and autonomy, when necessary, as well as the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team
- Proactive with sound personal judgment and professional demeanor
- Organized and detailoriented
- Analytical skills and the ability to understand medical terminology, categories of medical records, laboratory and radiology tests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
- Strong technical skills to use medical coding software and the facility's health information system
- Can effectively multitask, shifting back and forth between two or more activities at a time
What will you be doing in this role?
- Comply with all HIPAA requirements and maintain patient privacy
- Process and maintain complete and accurate data and patient records within the EHR (eClinicalWorks) and Salesforce
- Request patient medical records from previous providers
- Request patient medical records from current referrals and outside provider visits
- Receive and upload medical records documents in the patient's medical records
- Ensure proper naming, organization and staff assignment in the EHR
- Track all outstanding medical records in though our Salesforce Workflow
- As assigned, work on additional projects related to Clinical Operations training and projects.
