Full Time 12-month
Hours:7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Pay Range:
$23.00 an hour
Location:
- Fayetteville. Ga 30215
Fayette County Head Start & Pre-K provides a professional work environment and a team atmosphere.
We offer a paid holiday schedule similar to the School District.
Duties
Disabilities:
- Working with our Community Partners, Education Staff, Coordinators, families, and children to help assess and screen children in the program
- Establish connections with families and teaching staff to ensure that all children's and family's needs are addressed
- Must have a working knowledge of IEP and IFSP plans and be able to monitor education staff are implementing them in the classroom effectively
Mental Health:
- Coordinate and monitor contracts with our local partners to provide mental health services and develop and distribute materials in areas of specialization
- Train staff and parents, conduct regular classroom visits, and maintain compliance and monitoring according to Head Start Performance Standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Three years experience working with a Head Start or Early Head Start Program

- Must be able to meet deadlines
