    Role Description

    This is a full-time position as a Site Civil Engineer/Project Manager for Land Development projects, including residential subdivisions, commercial projects, Industrial warehouse sites, K-12 education sites, Institutional sites. The role involves performing day-to-day tasks related to civil engineering design, planning, stormwater design, and overall civil engineering project management. The successful candidate must know to design water lines, sewer collection systems, storm drain conveyance systems, grading plans for sites and subdivisions, dimensional control, all for land development projects. The successful candidate must be able to prepare and produce complete sets of civil engineering construction drawings for Land Development projects and have done so for at least 5-10 projects, using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

    The position is primarily based in our Fort Worth office, but with some flexibility for remote work. Eventually, the firm will be fully back in the office. Remote applicants need not apply.

    Qualifications

    • Civil Engineering Design and Construction Plans preparation skills
    • Minimum 3 years experience in site development and/or residential subdivisions;
    • Experience in planning and stormwater management, then implementing solutions through design drawings
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Civil 3d and AutoCAD, Excel, WORD
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
