Job Description:

The field of landscape architecture has been significantly expanded by new potentials of "green infrastructure" as a response to urbanization processes, transformation of infrastructures in the carbon age, and climate change adaptation. This has opened up new research perspectives that the subject area to be filled should address in research and teaching with a focus on construction and materialoriented design in landscape architecture. The subject area should combine landscape architectural design competence with engineering expertise and further develop landscape architecture as a unity of design and technical solution.

The profile of construction and material-oriented design in landscape architecture should include, among others:

the development of new design attitudes and construction approaches, ranging from vernacular or nature-based low-tech principles to high-tech principles from the field of digitization, and new approaches for innovative use of materials in landscape architecture;

- the expansion of the range of landscape architectural elements through new installations (including water management, disaster protection, transportation, waste management, and for leisure and health) to develop sustainable complex open spaces;
- the evaluation of the effectiveness of these novel design approaches, construction principles, and materials, as well as the effectiveness
