    Description
    As a Plant Accountant, you are the financial business partner to the Site. You are the steward of the operation's financial well-being.

    You perform key accounting activities and ensure the site's business transactions are fast, accurate, and compliant while being vigilant to identify improvement opportunities.

    You WillManage the budgeting, forecasting, planning, costing, and reporting cycles for the siteExecute accounting transactions, including purchasing invoicesSupport the monthly physical inventory and valuation process, as well as the perpetual inventory control systemUse your research and analysis skills to identify & report negative impacts to the P&L along with recommendations for improvementServe as subject matter expert to the site regarding financial matters and act as the liaison between the site and Corporate AccountingYou Have:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience, preferably in manufacturingWorking knowledge of costings, AP/AR, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliationWorking knowledge of GAAPERP system experience, preferably SAPPlastipak is an Equal Opportunity EmployerIn order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
