The city of Neu-Ulm is currently seeking several employees (m/f/d) for the Department 1, Building Operations Yard:

Compensation:
Pay scale group 4 to pay scale group 6 TVöD (depending on qualifications)

Working hours:
Full-time

Vacation: 30 days of vacation entitlement for a 5-day work week

Your main tasks:

Manual and mechanical cleaning of street drains
Mechanical cleaning of the city's sewer network
Assistance with repairs to the sewer network
Assistance with lift stations and pumping stations
Assistance with pest control in city sewers
Operation and maintenance of mechanical work equipment
Deployment in winter service and flood protection

Requirements:

Completed vocational training in the construction industry, such as plumber (m/f/d), road builder (m/f/d) or bricklayer (m/f/d), or training in the agricultural sector or at least a completed vocational training in a trade
Technical understanding and safetyconscious work in the wastewater system, including pumping stations and retention basins
Class C1E driver's license (old class 3) or willingness to acquire it in the near future
Physical fitness for work in wastewater facilities
Willingness to work outside of regular working hours (winter service, assistance with events, festivals and transports)
Physical resilience and ability to work in a team

No completed vocational training is required for the helper position in pay scale group
