- Conduct daily inspections to ensure contract adherence and conformance with specifications on a large sewage system project in Vaughan.
- Perform construction inspection assignments and site visits for tunnel and shaft construction work.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to other inspectors.
- Maintain diaries and photographs to document daily construction activities.
- Assist in invoicing and claims management.
- Monitor contractor work for compliance with specifications, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Enforce punch list completion and resolve open items promptly.
- Experience in underground construction, including Support of Excavation and EPB TBM operations.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, with 10+ years of experience in QA/QC inspection of TBM tunneling.
- PEO registered, or OACETT registered Road Construction Senior Inspector (rcsi).
- Knowledge and experience with relevant specifications such as CSA A23.1/A23.3/A23.4/G/W47.1.
- Ability and willingness to work on a 24/7 schedule at the project site.
