- Performs RMA receiving tasks for installers, which involve inspecting received items, identifying return origins, updating databases, relocating materials, and keeping the RMA engineering team informed.
- Handles shipping and receiving for most materials at the South Portland office, liaising with 3rd party carriers, generating shipments, packaging items, and updating databases with shipping details.
- Aids in various supply chain administrative tasks like assessing shipping costs, entering material data, conducting counts, transferring materials, picking up items from local suppliers, etc.
- Contributes to the creation and execution of storage and organization systems for surplus and NPI materials.
- Maintains a well-organized inventory and RMA area.
- Assists in coordinating electronic waste/recycling disposal.
- Executes other assigned duties as necessary.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience with exceptional skills.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Work Experience: 1-3+ years in an inventory/material management environment.
- Quick learner with ability to prioritize effectively to meet customer and company requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously with precision.
- Prior experience in materials management/inventory, especially with software like SAP, Oracle, etc.

The Clean Energy Systems (CES) Division is experiencing significant growth and progress in the production scaling of our residential energy solutions. We are in search of a Supply Chain Technician to bolster our team by carrying out administrative supply chain duties, helping with RMA shipping/receiving, and collaborating with different departments to manage materials effectively within an office setting. This position will directly report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be located onsite at the Generac Clean Energy office in South Portland, Maine.
