We are currently seeking reinforcements for our mechanical workshop at the Kassel power plant in Cartersville, GA.


Your responsibilities:

  • You will independently carry out maintenance and repair work on the mechanical components of the power plant facilities, such as conveyor systems, valves, pumps, fans, compressed air systems, steam generators, tanks, gas and steam turbines, as well as other plant components on site.
  • You are able to identify and assess malfunctions in mechanical plant components.
  • You are also responsible for:
  • Operating and operating forklifts, aerial work platforms, crane systems, construction vehicles, telescopic forklifts, and the coal handling system.
  • Documenting the work performed.

Your professional and personal profile:

  • You have completed training as an industrial mechanic, mechanical engineer, precision mechanic, or mechatronics technician.
  • You have extensive experience with machining tools and can demonstrate several years of experience in plant construction, preferably in power plant technology.
  • You have experience with MAG and manual welding, as well as knowledge of compressed air and hydraulic systems.
  • You have a valid Class B or BE driver's license.
  • You are willing to work weekends and nights during malfunctions or revisions.
  • You are open to participating in internal and external training.
  • You enjoy working in a team and are characterized by flexibility, commitment, and resilience.
