Summary/Objective


As a Manager, Ticket Experience, you will work out of the Ticket Services Department to help manage the Ticket Experience staff and provide support to the Ticket Operations staff.

Applicants must have full buy-in to the digital ticketing experience and be able to resolve all customer ticketing issues. Qualified individuals must be detail-oriented and genuinely enjoy interacting with and helping our fans.

Applicants must also be knowledgeable of and adept in using ProVenue, the MLB Ballpark App and advanced features & functionality of iPhone-Androids.

In addition, applicants must be able to adapt, work effectively under pressure, and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and guidance to the Ticket Experience Staff
  • Assist with standard operational gameday preparation (ticket distribution, internal service support, external gameday fan experience support)
  • Assist with mobile ticketing support on smartphone and tablet devices on Astro's game days
  • Able to manage the inbound ticket help phone line and ticket help inbox
  • Assist in the timely processing of ticket refunds
  • Assist the Ticket Operations Manager with event building and event management
  • Engage with fans and serve as the departments first level of support regarding mobile ticketing and admission into the ballpark
  • Liaison between the general public and our group, season, service and premium sales staff
  • Provide updates to the Ticket Experience staff on any changes to game day policies or procedures
  • Monitor ticket Experience staff development and provide feedback to the Ticket Operations Manager
  • Inform the Ticket Operations Manager of any recurring issues that occur during game days and provides possible solutions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years experience working in a Ticket Resolution/Supervisor role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Proven leader on the Ticket Experience staff
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with different personalities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position and hours will vary. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
