Position Summary:


As part of the Sales Integration & Advisory and reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Integration & Advisory, the Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in driving a consistent data culture in account and opportunity characterization in Bentley's systems of record while enhancing the efficiency of Enterprise quota carriers.

The Sales Assistant ensures accounts and opportunities are accurately characterized, driving effective reporting, creates quotes and ensures acceptance, and performs opportunity-maintenance-related tasks.

The ability to cultivate durable relationships with quota carriers and Regional Directors is key to success in the role.


Your Day-to-Day:


  • Collaborate with Enterprise Sales quota carriers to efficiently create and manage AccountstobeApproved.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of account and opportunity information in the CRM system and related systems of record.
  • Coordinate across the Bentley enterprise to gather and properly characterize data required for account setup.
  • Assist Enterprise quota carriers in preparing quotes for all assigned accounts.
  • Manage the quote acceptance process for AAG to accelerate orders by most expeditiously meeting operational requirements.
  • Address inquiries and provide clarification on quote details as soon as needed.
  • Work to expedite the approval process and ensure timely responses.
  • Monitor and update the CRM system with the latest applicable account and opportunity information previous to issuing a quotation; later in workflow, reengage and submit to processing.
  • Drive attention to ServiceNow cases related to Enterprise Sales team.
  • Develop and maintain a facility with Bentley's current commercial programs, offerings, and products.
  • Create and maintain operational reference documentation for quota carriers.
  • Ensure transactional integrity and accelerate bookings for quota carriers.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role does not require travel.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Extremely effective communicator with exceptional presentation skills; capable of interacting with colleagues at every level and across every business line, enhancing process engagement from stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Customer-Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP Sales Cloud) proposal automation tools (e.g., Upland Qvidian), content and collaboration management systems (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams), and other sales tools
  • Businesslevel communication skills in English; additional languages desirable, depending on region.
  • Experience working with intercultural groups, people and/or organizations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highpressure environment; capable of learning and adapting quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and workrelated experience
