As part of a replacement, we are looking for an Electrician (m/f/d) for the Automation department at our workshop in Union City, PA for KWS SAAT SE & Co.

KGaA.

In this position, you will be responsible for programming and servicing our systems to ensure smooth operation of seed production and research facilities.

This exciting position is full-time, permanent, and available as soon as possible.

Your tasks - Challenge meets responsibility:

Programming and servicing of automation technology
Servicing, maintenance, and further development of control systems (creation of classes and libraries)
Development and programming of PLC programs for machines and systems with corresponding visualization
Commissioning of automation projects
Support in the construction of new production facilities and buildings
Creation of test setups for new automation technology and evaluation of their productive use
Close coordination with other departments and clients (customers and technical planners)
Participation in oncall duty according to the oncall duty schedule

Your profile - Competence meets personality:

Successfully completed technical vocational training as an electrician for automation, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
Professional experience in PLC programming
Proficient in automation visualization software programs (Siemens Simatic)
Excellent team and communication skills
Analytical and critical thinking, openness to new ideas
Independent and structured work style, responsible and proactive with a high level of initiative
Fluent in German (spoken and written), knowledge of English is desirable
