  • We are currently seeking a Marketing Event Program Manager. This position will be working out of the Fairfiled, NJ office four days a week and as needed._
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW_


Reporting to the Senior Manager Marketing Program Management, the Marketing Event Manager is responsible for managing and executing strategy for the large strategic events along with supporting the growing number of regional events.

This position will include the development and execution of all facets of events attended and hosted by Red Cross Training Services, along with demonstrating at various industry trade events.

These events include traditional trade shows, along with industry specific and executive events.

The role will work the product marketing and marketing communication teams to develop strategies for each event and then ensure they are executed flawlessly and meet expectations.

This role will work with the Senior Manager to manage the budgets associated with each event and develop process improvements as needed.

This role will also be responsible for interfacing with product marketing to develop post event strategy and recommendations on future event.


  • WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD_ (Key Responsibilities):
  • In conjunction with product marketing executing the strategy and logistics of strategic trade events
  • Create and manage a dashboard and measurement plan for events to manage ROI for trade shows.
  • Implement the use of a tradeshow and analytic measurement program, such as EVOLIO.
  • Ensure preand postshow communication plans are executed.
  • Provide onsite support as needed for various events.
  • Review the success of the program and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support requests to add organizations outside the Red Cross to the program.
  • Evaluate execution processes for trade shows and make recommendations for improvements to the program.
  • Engages in regular communications with product, sales, and service delivery teams regarding product marketing updates and new initiatives.
  • Builds positive working relationships and supports the needs of Field Sales, BGST and Channel partners to understand customer needs and develop and prioritize projects.

  • Friday Standard business hours._
  • The salary range for this position is $68,472$91,296. Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications._
  • This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded._
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:_
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Event and program management experience
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining operational and process initiatives in support of marketing activities is required.
  • Understanding of budget development and tracking
  • Understanding of procurement to evaluate vendors support events.
  • Use and understanding of EVOLIO
