Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Revenue Cycle Analyst.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain denial databases and conduct strategic analysis to include in monthly, quarterly, annual and adhoc reports
  • Proactively work with multidisciplinary teams to reduce and eliminate future denials
  • Identify and examine the root causes of denials, and work with other departments in the Revenue Cycle and beyond to improve operations
  • Work closely with RCO management to identify issues and trends
  • Develop a process to routinely share denial metrics to various outpatient hospital departments
  • Assist with developing efficient and effective outpatient denial management work flows and operations
  • Performs complex data analysis of denial dashboards with the goal of delivering sophisticated analysis products in report or presentation format
  • Develops programs, methodologies, and files from analyzing and presenting data with the goal of well organized, wellwritten, documented and maintained data files
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a Must have a Bachelors degree
Must have at least 2-3 years of experience
Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of productivity-based computer software (MS Office)
Must be familiar with medical terminology and hospital medical billing guidelines


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
Experience using Epic computer software is preferred
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Tableau

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $41, $55,515.49 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
