Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs trailer inspections, documents and maintains food safety of trailers.
  • Creates Manifests for shipping finished and / or intermediary items.
  • Receives in ingredients, supplies, and product to support East and West Main operations.
  • Coordinates hauling of ingredients, supplies, and product to support East and West Main operations via dock appointment scheduling.
  • Transfers and stages product into assigned work areas.
  • Utilizes JDE and Data Collection Scanners to move pallets, ingredients, supplies, etc.
  • Inspects cheese and materials for mold, direct and other foreign materials.
  • Ensures all first in firstinfirstout principles are maintained throughout the manufacturing and packaging process.
  • Follows sanitation instructions for cleaning equipment, coolers, and ship / receive, breakroom, and locker room areas.
  • Supports all Wheel Finishing and Grating Cheese processes.
  • Trains others in the essential duties and responsibilities for this department.
  • Adheres to all Sartori Quality and Safety Policies.
  • Operate Trash and Cardboard Compactors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalency, preferred.


OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction and conversions.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to achieve thoroughness and accuracy in everyday responsibility
  • Good listening skills.
