Description

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Verify they are using the correct lumber for the crate being built.
  • Inspect lumber.
  • Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely.
  • Assemble panels and crates.
  • Cut lumber to the desired dimension.
  • Be willing to become forklift certified.
  • Prepares lumber for assembly.
  • Cut foam to desired dimensions.
  • Willingness to adhere to proper safety protocols.
  • Some warehouse functions are required like offloading a semi and use of a pallet jack.
  • Ability to understand and execute written build instructions/blueprints for crates.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Knowledge and experience with nail guns, screw guns, miter saws, measuring tape, panel saw, table saw, angle grinder etc.
  • Basic organization skills would be preferred but not required. Basic computer skills may be needed.

Education and Experience:


  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of carpentry, maintenance, or construction experience

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
