TheReceiving Manager reports to the Assistant Branch Managers andBranch Manager and has the overall responsibility for monitoringand assisting in all activities in the Receiving Departmentpertaining to all incoming/outgoing merchandise. Must takeprecautions and be aware of any potential theft indicators. Inaddition, provides leadership and guidance to all power equipmentoperators that are involved with loading and unloading of productfrom trailers. This position includes manual labor.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure accuracy of itemdescription, UPC numbers and counts for all incoming and outgoingshipments.
- Ensure accuracy when filling outManifest/Bill of Lading and maintain IBT Seal Log for both incomingand outgoing deliveries.
- Ensure list of incomingPurchase Orders (Order Pool) is run and follow up with Buying orLogistics Department to ensure "on time" Purchase Orders.
- Record and file all incoming and outgoing PurchaseOrders.
- Ensure Goods Received Book (GRB) and anyAdjustment Vouchers (AVs) are current and accurate.
-Ensure Receiving Clerk is accurately entering everything receivedon the day it was received and has all deliveries properlyscheduled.
- Ensure all Driver Logs are maintained andfiled appropriately
- Ensure trucks are unloaded/loadedin a timely manner and maintain detention times to aminimum.
- Perform monthly self-audits being performedand address action items.

Shift start: 6:00 AM
Shift length: 8 - 10hours
5 days/week, must be available any day
