We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Nursing Specialist B.Sc. (m/f/d) for our
neurosurgical ward at Ocean Beach, NY.


Your responsibilities:

  • Providing nursing care to patients with highly complex needs based on evidencebased decisions
  • Taking responsibility for and implementing the entire nursing process, as well as providing advice and guidance to patients and their families using your acquired knowledge and skills from your university education
  • Identifying potential areas for improvement in nursing care for specific patient groups or medical conditions (with a focus on neurosurgery)
  • Developing practical research questions and implementing innovative solutions in your own professional field
  • Initiating and conducting training sessions on current topics for the nursing staff on the ward
  • Implementing and monitoring specific quality indicators in the field of neurosurgery
  • Participating in studies
This role requires independent work, expertise, and creativity. Confidentiality, loyalty, and reliability are essential.


Your profile:

  • Successfully completed threeyear vocational training in nursing, pediatric nursing, or elderly care
  • Completed university degree (usually in nursing or nursing science B.Sc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in acute inpatient care is desirable, but not mandatory
  • Ability to apply the knowledge acquired during your studies in patient care
  • Ability to work in an interprofessional dialogue and contribute to the development of direct patient care
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Strong social skills and ability to work in a team
  • Independent, cooperative, and flexible working style
